Program Goal: Assist school going children to access quality basic education, through creation of a conducive learning environment, supporting training of teachers and empowering communities to manage schools and development of curriculum

Objective: To increase opportunities for school going children to access quality education and assist in the establishment of infrastructure and capacity of personnel to enable delivery of quality education services

 

States have a human rights obligation to prevent the foreseeable adverse effects of climate change and ensure that those affected by it, particularly those in vulnerable situations, have access to effective remedies and means of adaptation to enjoy lives of human dignity.

Climate change is one of the greatest threats to human rights of our generation, posing a serious risk to the fundamental rights to life, health, food and adequate standard of living of individuals and communities across the world.
