Today @kalkalhuman in Collaboration with @gredosom has launched training for CSOs Child Right Coalition Advocacy & Influencing Capacity building Plans

The ultimate aim of the workshop is to sensitize people who are at the helm of decision making, working at the various government departments concerned with rural development that ensure service delivery to make child-friendly policies, keeping in mind the impact of their programmes on children. More specifically, the workshop will be used to sensitize practitioners within SWS SOMALIA on child rights issues through inter-departmental trainings. The workshop is highly interactive and uses participatory training methodologies. The workshop chapters have been prepared after an extensive review of child rights programmes and training modules available both nationally and internationally. It has made use of inputs from GREDO’s extensive body of child rights-related information and training modules, the approaches, as well as the KAHRDO/GREDO Child Rights Toolkit’, developed collaboratively by GREDO and the KAHRDO.
