On this International Day of Peace 2026, Kalkal Human Rights Development Organization (KAHRDO) calls for greater commitment to peaceful dialogue, tolerance, social cohesion, and respect for fundamental rights.
We believe that young people, women, community leaders, civil society, and local communities all have an important role to play in building peaceful and resilient societies. By listening to one another, resolving disagreements through dialogue, rejecting violence and discrimination, and promoting equality and inclusion, we can create communities where everyone can live with dignity and hope.
Let us choose dialogue over division, understanding over hatred, justice over exclusion, and peace over violence.
