Kalkal Human Rights Development Organization (KAHRDO) is deeply concerned about the escalating violence in and around Baidoa, Bay region, and its devastating impact on civilians, particularly women, children, older persons, persons with disabilities, and internally displaced families.
Recent clashes have forced thousands of people to flee their homes, further worsening an already critical humanitarian situation. With Baidoa facing a heightened risk of famine, vulnerable communities urgently need protection, food assistance, and essential humanitarian support.
