Our Executive Director, Qoslaaye, attended the Leveraging CSO Networks to Support Conflict Prevention, including COMWARN SVA and AU CSVRA, held from September 14 to 16, 2023, in Entebbe, Uganda.

This event gathered key stakeholders from various civil society organizations (CSOs) focused on conflict prevention and resolution. The discussions centered on the importance of leveraging CSO networks to enhance collaboration, share best practices, and develop innovative strategies for effective conflict prevention.

Key topics included the role of the Continental Early Warning System (COMWARN) and the African Union’s Conflict Sensitivity and Vulnerability Risk Assessment (AU CSVRA) frameworks. Participants explored ways to strengthen the capacity of CSOs to respond to conflicts proactively and to foster peacebuilding efforts in their communities.

Qoslaaye’s participation was instrumental in sharing our organization’s experiences and insights, as well as in building partnerships that will contribute to our ongoing mission of promoting peace and stability in the region.
