We sincerely appreciate @Sihanetwork for organizing the Coordination Meeting with WPS Champions of Change in Baidoa, which provided an important platform for collaboration, learning, and collective action in advancing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda.
@Kalkalhuman was honored to participate and actively contribute to discussions focused on strengthening coordination mechanisms among WPS actors, sharing experiences and best practices, identifying common challenges, and enhancing collective efforts to promote women’s meaningful participation in peacebuilding, conflict prevention, leadership, and decision-making processes.
The meeting highlighted the importance of stronger partnerships, coordinated advocacy, and sustained engagement with communities, civil society organizations, and government institutions to advance the rights of women and girls and ensure their voices are represented in peace and security initiatives.
KAHRDO remains committed to working alongside SIHA Network, WPS Champions of Change, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to strengthen joint advocacy efforts, promote gender-responsive policies, and support inclusive and sustainable peace across Somalia.
