KAHRDO — Baidoa Emergency Update
Following armed clashes in Baidoa on 17 August 2026, 71 wounded people were treated at Bay Regional Hospital, including women and children. Four deaths were also recorded, including one young woman.
KAHRDO remains deeply concerned about the protection of civilians and calls for safe, unhindered access to medical care, as well as the protection of health facilities, medical personnel, and patients.
