About KAHRDO:
Kalkal Human Rights Development Organization (KAHRDO) is a women-led, non-governmental, and non-profit civil society organization based in Somalia. Established on July 7, 2013, KAHRDO is dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights, advancing gender equality, and supporting inclusive community development, focusing on women, youth, children, and other marginalized groups.

KAHRDO works to strengthen community resilience and social justice through rights-based programming, advocacy, capacity building, and humanitarian response. Operating primarily in the South West State of Somalia, including Baidoa, Afgoye, Marka, and Elberde districts, we closely collaborate with local communities, government institutions, and development partners.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Data Collection & Reporting Coordinator to manage and enhance our data collection processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing data collection tools, analyzing data, and preparing reports to inform decision-making and program evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data collection strategies and methodologies that align with KAHRDO’s objectives.
• Design, test, and refine data collection tools (surveys, questionnaires, etc.).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations based on data findings.
• Collaborate with program teams to ensure data is relevant and actionable.
• Train staff on data collection methods and reporting standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience in data collection, management, and reporting.
• Proficient in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, Excel, or similar tools).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Knowledge of human rights issues and community development is a plus.
