Kalkal Human Rights Development Organization (KAHRDO) is a non-political, non-profit entity founded on July 7, 2013, by a group of Somali intellectuals and philanthropists to respond to numerous humanitarian challenges as a result of the civil war and frequent natural disasters like drought and floods which lead to lack of basic services and great human suffering, KAHRDO has grown to be one of the leading players in responding to humanitarian needs in Somalia. KAHRDO area of operation Human Rights Protection & Advocacy , Child Rights Protection and advocacy , Advocacy to End Violence Against Women & Girls, Promotion on Socio-Economic Rights, Human Rights for Environmental and Climate Justice, Peace building & reconciliation, Youth & Women Empowerment, Democracy & good governance, Advocate for Environmental Conservation and Climate Change, Advocacy for Disability Rights, Establish coordination with general Protection and Support education Sponsorships on humanitarian crisis in South/Central Somalia.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Training Facilitator to join our team. Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to employees at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials and resources.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop appropriate solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback.
- Provide individual coaching and support to employees to enhance their learning experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training programs align with organizational goals.
- Manage training logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant registration.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.
Job Brief:
As a Training Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in equipping our audience with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles. You will work closely with various departments and individuals to identify training needs and develop tailored programs that address those needs. Your expertise in instructional design and facilitation will be instrumental in creating engaging and impactful learning experiences. Detailed Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions that promote active learning.
- Adapt training materials to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of participants.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to participants to support their development.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on participant feedback and organizational goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Stay current on organization trends and incorporate innovative training techniques into programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure training needs are met effectively.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training policies and procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development) or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years proven experience as a Training Facilitator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to adapt training content to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems.
- Experience with e-learning platforms and virtual training delivery is a plus.
- Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP) is preferred.
