@Kalkalhuman is pleased to participate in the three-day Capacity-Building Workshop on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL), held from July 15–17, 2025, in Hargeisa. The training brought together SIHA member organizations from Somalia, Somaliland, and Djibouti to enhance technical knowledge and practical skills in MEL, which are essential for delivering impactful, accountable, and community-responsive programs.
This interactive training focused on several key areas:
✅ Developing and refining Theories of Change and Results Chains
✅ Applying the Most Significant Change (MSC) methodology
✅ Conducting participatory story-based analysis to document impact
✅ Designing ethical and inclusive data-sharing frameworks
✅ Packaging MEL findings for diverse audiences in ways that are safe, inclusive, and action-oriented
As an organization committed to human rights, inclusion, and sustainable development, KAHRDO values the importance of strong MEL systems to drive learning, accountability, and meaningful change in the communities we serve.
@As Kkalkalhuman team, we sincerely thank SIHA Network for organizing this timely and transformative workshop, and for their ongoing support in strengthening the capacity of grassroots civil society organizations. We look forward to applying these tools and insights in our upcoming projects and advocacy work.
