was thrilled to join today’s virtual webinar on “Centering African Civil Society’s Voice in Global Climate Governance.” The event marked the soft launch of ECOSOCC’s new climate knowledge products, including position papers on climate finance, mitigation, and adaptation, as well as the Civil Society Roadmap to Belém, supporting Africa’s advocacy ahead of #COP30 in Brazil . Speakers emphasized the importance of African unity, equitable climate finance, and strong civil society leadership in driving action on adaptation, loss and damage, and resilience. Together, we reaffirmed that Africa’s time for climate justice is now — through coordinated, evidence-based, and people-led advocacy. #ClimateAction #ClimateJustice #Agenda2063 #COP30 #ClimateChange
