Our Program Coordinator, Ibrahim, attended the Consultation on the Involvement of Civil Society Organizations in the Implementation and Sustainability of the African Union Compliance and Accountability Framework, held from December 4 to 6, 2023, in Lusaka, Zambia.
This consultation brought together various stakeholders, including representatives from civil society organizations, government officials, and international partners. The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration and understanding the critical role that civil society plays in promoting compliance and accountability within the African Union framework.
Key topics included strategies for effective engagement, best practices for sustainability, and mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the impact of civil society initiatives. Ibrahim’s participation contributed valuable insights and fostered relationships that will support our ongoing efforts in this vital area.
