Our Executive Director, @qoslaay66, representing @Kalkalhuman, participated in a three-day Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Workshop for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) aimed at strengthening civil society engagement in human rights reporting and advocacy.
The workshop, supported by @UNTMIS_, brought together CSOs from various Federal Member States to prepare for the Fourth Cycle of the UPR. The process included both virtual and in-person sessions, engaging key stakeholders such as organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs), minority groups, youth, and journalists to review human rights progress and provide recommendations to enhance Somalia’s human rights protection and inclusive participation in the UPR process.
