Project Name:

Strengthening Partnership Advocacy to Enhance Women and Youth Empowerment in Baidoa District Southwest State of Somalia

Summary of Project:

The project titled “Strengthening Partnership Advocacy to Enhance Women and Youth Empowerment in Baidoa District” aims to build a robust and inclusive platform for advocacy that amplifies the voices of women and youth, promotes their active participation in governance, and supports their access to socio-economic opportunities. The project will work to strengthen collaboration among community-based organizations, local authorities, traditional leaders, youth and women-led groups, and development partners to create a unified front in advocating for gender equality, youth inclusion, and community resilience.

Through coordinated advocacy campaigns, capacity-building sessions, and dialogue forums, the project seeks to address socio-cultural barriers that hinder women and youth empowerment. It will also support community engagement activities that promote awareness of rights, leadership training for women and youth, and the establishment of local advocacy networks. These networks will serve as sustainable structures for policy engagement and monitoring the implementation of inclusive development programs.
