Fadumo Ali Mohamed participated in the Policy Advocacy and Dialogue Forum organized by KAHRDO in Baidoa District on May 4-5, 2024. The forum brought together 30 participants (17 female, 13 male), including CSOs, community leaders, government officials, and survivors, to address pressing human rights issues within the community.
With limited prior experience in advocacy, Fadumo gained essential skills in policy dialogue, evidence-based communication, and alliance-building. Her powerful insights into the barriers that survivors face in accessing justice resonated with attendees, inspiring a collective commitment to strengthen support systems. Fadumo’s story highlights the transformative impact of empowering local advocates to drive meaningful change, fostering a future where human rights are prioritized in Baidoa.
